Traffic in Jersey City peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Great pet store, staff super knowledgeable. The ultimate in neighborhood store, in the middle of downtown!

A nice local pet store - the staff is friendly. Only reason I'm not giving 5 starts is because they NEVER open at their posted 10a.m. opening time - I've been there multiple times around 10 and they were not open even 10-15 minutes after. Edit: Sorry I meant 11am - the posted opening time - not 10am. Today I was there until 11:10am and the store was not open.

Purchased a harness for my dog at the Newark Ave location at 4pm yesterday and was told upon attempting to return at the Central Ave location around noon that I need to return at the store at which I made the purchase. That is not the posted policy. I had the receipt, tags were still in the item and I was well within the 24 hour return window. I will not shop here again. Either honor your posted policy or change the policy.

We love coming here. Wouldn’t rely on it if you need something specific. 50/50 shot they have my dogs food when I go in. But I love this sweater I got. The yarn is great quality and actually softened my dogs coat. We go in multiple times a week for their natural low cost treats. Only Suggestion for the business is to make sure your hours are accurate. Sometimes we wait until 9:15 and it’s still not open

It's a good store, friendly staff, good selection of dog things... But it has literally not one single time been opened on time. Photos taken at 1130am, still closed. I've been here at noon, still closed. Don't bother coming before 1pm or you might have wasted your time.
